Our Touch Plate is designed for simple touching-off in 3 directions without guesswork. Simply insert the plug into the plate, click a few buttons, and let the machine find it’s position.

A touch plate is essential for:

• Precisely setting the initial position of a piece of material
• Performing tool-changing operations
• Performing surface probe compensation on larger stock

This item contains all the parts for one operational touch plate setup – touch plate, wires, and magnet. The 2-pin connector comes preinstalled on the LongBoard controller and can be easily attached to the wiring harness with a small, flat head screwdriver. If you do not have the connector please add a comment during checkout for us to include one in your order. It is also compatible with our SuperLongBoard controller.
