Description
Other highlights include:
- Special nickel coating for higher surface conductivity to improve touch-off sensitivity
- Each set comes with a 5ft cable with a strong neodymium magnet and gold plated 5mm ECS5 jack for easy connection to two spots on the touch plate
- Guaranteed compatibility with our LongMill and AltMill CNCs, and likely compatible with other CNC routers with 2-wire, NO probe connections (like Shapeoko, 3018, etc.)
- Works seamlessly out-of-the-box with the gSender CNC control software
- Macros and documentation available for other senders too like CNCjs, LinuxCNC, Buildbotics, UGS, and more
- Currently set up for Front, Left corner probing only – support for other options coming to gSender soon

Works well , maybe you can change the software so it reverts to Z zero after using it in XYZ mode if you are not familiar with it and you just want to zero Z it moves fast and damage your tool or hurt yourself.

this makes setup so much faster, easier and accurate

After setting XYZ, the bit attempted to move in the wrong direction and struck the touch plate. I haven’t yet figured out what’s causing the issue.

I have been using the AutoZero touch plate for about 4 months and like how easily it sets my x&y zero and my z axis. I use it with gSender and with the Super Long Board controller that I upgraded my Genmitsu CNC to.

Simple, effective, accurate

I use 1/8″ bits for final cut out. The sides of the plate are so high that I have to extend the bit so the collet nut does not contact the plate and give a false Z reading. This makes the bit prone to breakage.

Still waiting for my spindle, so haven’t used it yet.

This makes makes zeroing the Z axis a breeze. I use it for everything.

While I did need a touch plate for the Z axis, this is a little over kill for how I use my machine. I ordered it because I knew I needed something
