As a compression bit, it combines the benefits of up-cut and down-cut spiral flutes, while maintaining a clean finish on both top and bottom surfaces. The Chip Breaker design breaks down long, stringy chips into smaller, manageable pieces during cutting to improve chip evacuation and reduce clogging. It’s perfect for cutting hardwood, plywood and composites due to its length, plus, its high hardness and DLC coating makes it ideal for abrasive materials like MDF.
